Off the Beaten Path: Fundraising is more than just grants

Have you set goals to grow your fundraising revenue in 2017? It likely won’t happen if you’re relying on just one revenue stream.

Common sense tells us that the best path toward better funding is focusing more time on the highest-return activity. Unfortunately, most organizations are not using a strategic mindset when it comes to relationship-based fundraising. Chuck Anderson of Mission Advancement will discuss appropriate strategy, structure, and support for beginning or growing your major gifts effort so that you can achieve capacity gifts from the donors you already have.

Speaker:

Chuck Anderson, Vice President, Mission Advancement

Chuck Anderson

Chuck Anderson has led and consulted with nonprofits for 20 years. His strategic counsel has elected political candidates, built new schools, launched international ministry initiatives, and provided resources for hurting families.

His work with Mission Advancement allows him to collaborate with other passionate development professionals, helping them discover helpful insights, prioritize time and resources, and develop trusting donor relationships.  Chuck’s greatest joy in serving a nonprofit is when he can help identify the obstacles and opportunities within the organization in order to focus on a plan for significant and sustainable growth.

Chuck has served as Executive Director of a statewide nonprofit, an advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of Texas, founder of a digital fundraising consulting firm, and as a volunteer for numerous causes close to his heart. He and his wife Jennifer make their home in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with their two daughters.
