Future of Philanthropy in Williamson County
January 24, 2019

The AFP Austin Chapter is excited to announce the return of quarterly Williamson County AFP Breakfasts with a 2019 focus on the “Future of Philanthropy in Williamson County.” The first meeting of 2019 is on Thursday, January 24 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and will be held in the Lynda McCombs Ballroom inside the Red and Charline McCombs Campus Center at Southwestern University. 

A dynamic panel of funders, executive directors, and community demographers will discuss the key trends and issues that will impact Williamson County residents and community based-organizations, and discuss how non-profits and their donors and funders can partner together to address them.

How to Become a CFRE

How do you get to the next level in your career? How do you demonstrate to your peers, donors, upper management and the board that you are truly a knowledgeable fundraising professional?

Thousands of fundraising professionals worldwide have boosted their salaries, career prospects and fundraising knowledge by becoming a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Come to this session to learn more about the CFRE credential – what it is, what is can do for your career advancement, how it complements education programs for fundraising professionals, the application requirements and content and tips for taking the CFRE exam.

This special presentation will take place on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 7:30am to 9:00am at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Community Room, 1315 Barbara Jordan Blvd, Austin, TX 78723. Cost is $10 for AFP Members and $15 for non-members.
