2011 PHILANTHROPY DAY AWARDS BREAKFAST

Hosted annually by the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Greater Austin, the Philanthropy Day Awards Breakfast recognizes outstanding achievements by individuals, corporations, foundations, youth, and non-profit organizations whose contributions of time and/or money have had a significant impact on the quality of life in Central Texas.
Proceeds from the event directly support AFP’s mission of advancing philanthropy; enabling people and organizations to practice effective and ethical fundraising.
Support of the Greater Austin Chapter’s Philanthropy Day Awards Breakfast provides our community’s fundraising professionals and the organizations they serve with numerous benefits including:
- A gift of over $27,000 to the 54 nonprofit sponsors, for which Bronze level sponsorship has not increased in the last decade, while the per person cost has increased by over 250%. The Greater Austin Chapter of AFP is committed to discounting the sponsorship level for nonprofit organizations so they may continue to participate each year.
- Continued financial and volunteer support for Austin’s Campaign for philanthropy, “I Live Here, I Give Here”
- Bringing national fundraising experts and authors to Austin for lectures, trainings, and professional development workshops.
