Christine Kutnick, CFRE runs her life based on her favorite quote “Be the change you want to see in the world.” (~ Mahatma Gandhi) 

Christine is currently serving as Founder of Philanthropic Upstart, a boutique consulting firm that helps start-up nonprofits and helping them transition to healthy, well-established organizations. She loves working with philanthropic people who are passionate about an issue and want to address the root cause. 
Prior to consulting, Christine has served for a variety of missions close her heart including Director of Development and Marketing for Con Mi MADRE; Foundation Director of Texas Dental Association Smiles Foundation; and Executive Director for National Conference for Community and Justice. Most recently, she served as Assistant Director of Development for University of Texas’s McCombs School of Business.
In 2006, Christine was awarded the professional designation of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and is a graduate of Leadership Corpus Christi and is in the new class of Leadership Texas.
Christine has been active in AFP Austin for over 15  years. She has served on the Programming Committee from 2005-2009 and served on Philanthropy Day committee from 2010-2013 and has served on the board 2 terms.  
Christine feels that the only way to truly be a good leader in the nonprofit sector is to be a follower also. In addition to her volunteer work with AFP, she has volunteered with the Junior League of Austin, for her house of worship, Girl Scouts, PTO for her children’s school, and Jewish Foundation of Central Texas.
