As the Chief Development Officer, Debbie Tate oversees all fundraising activities for the Center for Child Protection. In her fifteen years of service to the Center, she has helped raise nearly 30 million dollars to support comprehensive forensic and therapeutic services to more than 20,000 child victims of abuse and neglect in Travis County. Ms. Tate finds joy in working with donors, volunteers and team to achieve annual goals through multiple fundraising channels. Prior to joining the Center for Child Protection, Ms. Tate was Director of Business Development for a market research firm.  Ms. Tate has received numerous awards for work in the advertising and marketing fields, including a National American Advertising Association Addy and a National American Marketing Association Effie for work on an anti-tobacco advertising campaign. In 2017, Ms. Tate was recognized as the Outstanding Professional Fundraiser by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Austin Chapter.  She has been a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals for fifteen years and has served on the Philanthropy Day committee raising awareness of the importance of effective and ethical fundraising.
