AFP Virtual Education Session - November 2020

Going Beyond Virtual: Reimagining Your 2021 Events

As we reacted to the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, events of all kinds were suddenly shifted online. Looking ahead to 2021, we understand more about the necessary precautions for in-person experiences, but we also know many people will not be comfortable returning to public gatherings for some time. How can we use the lessons learned from 2020 to reimagine fundraising events to maximize safety while still harnessing our supporters’ love of our causes? In this session, Tanya Fitzgerald, CFRE and fundraising event expert, will share strategies and tips to help you creatively harness your supporters’ passion. You’ll hear about a variety of engagement opportunities from virtual experiences to on-the-ground activities that will steward your donor relationships in this new era.
