As a former member of the AFP Board of Directors, Jayden served as Vice President of Education and chaired AFP’s One Day Conference twice. Her leadership style is rooted in compassion, inclusivity, and a commitment to creating lasting impact through philanthropy. When asked about leading the AFP Greater Austin Chapter as its first Executive Director, Jayden shared, “I am truly excited to step into the role of Executive Director for the AFP Greater Austin Chapter. Over the majority of the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working as a nonprofit professional and fundraiser in this community, so I deeply understand the dedication and impactful work that AFP members contribute to our shared mission. As I begin this new chapter, I am eager to lead our organization in building a community co-designed with membership and for membership to empower all of us as we advance the causes that matter most to the Greater Austin area. I invite members to connect with me directly to share their thoughts on how we can better serve them, and I look forward to seeing everyone at the exciting AFP events planned for this year. It’s an honor to be part of this work, and I’m excited for the incredible things we will achieve together as we continue to nurture a vibrant culture of philanthropy in our community.”
