The 2025 AFP Greater Austin One Day Conference themed, Together, We Rise – Collective Impact for a Stronger Sector, is a gathering grounded in the belief that every role within a nonprofit organization—whether in leadership, fundraising, programs,finance, communications, or volunteers—contributes to advancing impact and driving meaningful change.

Participants will explore how their unique roles contribute directly to building trust, driving results, and securing the resources needed to sustain and grow their organization’s work.

Speaking Opportunities
Based on feedback received from the community via the One Day Conference Topic Survey, AFP Greater Austin is seeking speakers who can provide an impactful presentation on the following topics-
- Recruiting the Right Board
- Strategic Planning (long term planning in a short term world)
- Ethical Storytelling that Demonstrates Impact (using protected client data and advocacy strategies)
- Finance 101 (Understanding budget vs. cash flow, strategic projections, Understanding Report, How to tell a story with your financials, etc.)
- Proactive Corporate Strategies (corporate giving program infrastructure, prospect assessment, appealing marketing benefits, volunteer engagement, etc)
- Creating and Managing a Monthly Giving Program
Interested speakers should submit via the open RFP linked below by August 8, 2025. Submission will be reviewed and scored by the AFP Greater Austin Education Committee. Speakers will be notified by September 2025.
