AFP Austin Community-Centric Fundraising Interactive Conversation

June 21, 2021
12pm - 1pm
Free, Open to Members and Non-Members

Join the AFP Greater Austin Chapter Values and Skills Institute at 12:00pm, Monday, June 21 for an interactive conversation with Michelle Vryn, CFRE about the Community-Centric Fundraising Movement. Michelle will provide a primer on the origins of the movement and how to get involved locally. The event will be held virtually via Zoom and will be interactive, so come with questions! This event is free and open to everyone, not just AFP members and not just fundraisers. Invite other nonprofit professionals and donors to participate! Read the open letter to UT Austin that Michelle co-wrote earlier this year to see how she is putting the CCF values to work in our community.

Michelle (Flores) Vryn, CFRE has worked in almost every area of development: institutional giving, major gifts, membership, capital campaigns, consulting, special events, and annual giving. She has a healthy obsession for equitable social impact and currently serves on the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Global’s Marketing, Awards & Communications Committee. Michelle lives in Austin, Texas and is always down for spontaneous outdoor adventures and dropping in on live music. She is a two-time graduate of the Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) The University of Texas at San Antonio. Find her on LinkedIn to keep the CCF convos going!
