Thank you to everyone who joined us from HOME for Philanthropy Day 2021, A Virtual Celebration. We may not have been able to be in the same room, but it was great seeing and visiting with you all. The annual Philanthropy Day Awards celebration recognizes and honors outstanding achievements by individuals, corporations, foundations and nonprofit organizations whose philanthropy creates a significant impact on the quality of life in Central Texas. Awards are presented at the annual Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon. Proceeds from the event directly support AFP-Greater Austin’s mission of advancing philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice effective and ethical fundraising. More specifically, event support enables the Chapter to offer year-round programming, move forward local IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access) initiatives, as well as scholarships for local fundraisers and nonprofit professionals.
