Donna is passionate about philanthropy and inspiring charitable giving to create social change and innovation in our community. She has over 15 years experience in development and is most proud of the partnerships she fostered during her seven years leading development for Mobile Loaves & Fishes raising over $50 million in capital campaign and annual funding to build and sustain Community First! Village, a nationally recognized solution addressing chronic homelessness.

With a commitment to ethical fundraising, she has been a member of AFP since 2005 and has been actively engaged in Philanthropy Day including co-chairing the annual event in 2014 and in 2018 was recognized as the Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the Austin Chapter.

Her previous work includes leading development at BookSpring to create the largest fundraiser, the Book Spring Read-A-Thon, and fostering the organization through a successful merge of Reading Is Fundamental and Reach Out and Read. Other volunteer and leadership positions include Leadership Austin Essentials Class of 2016, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, the National Charity League, Foundation for the Homeless, and board positions within the Eanes ISD Booster Club and extracurricular programs. Donna, a graduate of Texas A&M, loves yoga and to snow ski with husband Mark of 33 years and children, Elizabeth, 23 and Matthew, 21.
